AI CODING MODELS.
YOUR CONNECTION. YOUR TEST.
Uncensored Coder puts model choice at the center of its identity. Select the connection for the work, then test what that configuration can actually do.
| CONNECTION | WHAT YOU SUPPLY | WHAT TO VERIFY |
|---|---|---|
| OPENAI-COMPATIBLEA model server with a compatible API | Base URL, available model ID and required credentials. | Tool calling, context limits and request format. |
| ANTHROPIC APIA supported API connection type | Provider access, endpoint configuration and API key. | Account permissions, model availability and costs. |
| LOCAL SERVERA compatible endpoint on your machine | A running model server and enough hardware for that model. | Memory use, responsiveness and whether tools need network access. |
THE NAME
IS NOT A MODEL POLICY.
A model's behavior comes from its training, serving configuration and provider. A different client does not automatically remove those constraints.
Use representative tasks to evaluate a candidate. Judge the generated work, tool behavior and practical cost, not a promise of universal answers.
CONFIGURATION NOTESNO SINGLE PROVIDER.
NO PREDETERMINED ANSWER.
YOUR CONFIGURATION.
Evaluate an uncensored coding model on the work it must do
Use a representative repository task when comparing model configurations. Check whether the model can identify the right files, use the required tools and explain the resulting change. Measure failures and incomplete work as well as successful output.
The shared reference supports compatible API connections, but that does not establish support for every model or every provider feature. Verify the endpoint format, available model, context window and request costs. A local server also needs hardware appropriate to the selected model.
